Chantaramas Resort

Chantaramas Resort offers deluxe rooms, supreme deluxe rooms, a family room and two pool villas. The Pool Villa Garden View and the Pool Villa Sea View both have a separate shower and bathtub, and several of the rooms have a garden view. Depending on the room, you can find air conditioning, a refrigerator and an in-room safe box.

The Family Room with Garden View measures 85 m² and sleeps up to five guests, with two bunk beds and a king bed. The Deluxe Room, the Supreme Deluxe Room and the Supreme Deluxe Room with Jacuzzi each measure 69 m² and sleep up to three guests. The Pool Villa Garden View measures 142 m², and the Pool Villa Sea View measures 146 m².

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre, a spa with a sauna and steam room, a private beach and a garden with a terrace. For meals, there is a restaurant serving lunch and dinner with Asian and international cuisine, a coffee shop, a poolside bar and room service.

The resort also has shops, a convenience store, business facilities and daily housekeeping. Free parking is on site, the property is wheelchair accessible, and it is family friendly. Chantaramas Resort sits in Baan Tai, a village on Ko Pha-ngan, an island in the Gulf of Thailand that is reached by ferry from Ko Samui. The beach at Haad Baan Kai is about 600 m away, so the sea is a short walk from the resort. The island has both quiet bays and busier beaches, and Haad Rin Nai, a beach in the Haad Rin area known for its parties, is 2.8 km away.

Wat Pho, a Buddhist pagoda, is 1.7 km from the resort, and the Night Market, also 1.8 km away, is a place to eat and browse local goods. The nearest airport is Samui Airport, 16.3 km away across the water on Ko Samui, so arrivals take a ferry crossing to Ko Pha-ngan before the last part of the journey to the resort. The resort provides a transfer from Haad Rin pier or Thong Sala pier for an additional charge, which is useful if you arrive by boat.

A good day could start with a swim at the beach at Haad Baan Kai, followed by a visit to Wat Pho and a walk through the Night Market once the sun goes down. For something livelier in the evening, Haad Rin Nai is the place to go, and after a day out the resort's spa, sauna and library offer a quieter option. The resort also offers tours, and bicycle rental is available for shorter trips.
