The rooms at Chanida home all have air conditioning and a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, plus a flat-screen TV with satellite and cable channels. The rooms measure between 21 and 28 m².

The ruins of the old kingdom are spread across the town, so many sights can be reached on foot or by bicycle. Daily life here runs alongside the temples and markets, a different pace from Bangkok.

Wat Mahathat, known for its Buddha head set among tree roots, is 1.1 km from the property, and Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, the royal temple within the old palace grounds, is 2 km away. Wat Phanan Choeng Worawihan, with its large seated Buddha image by the river, and Wat Chaiwatthanaram, with its Khmer-style towers, lie farther out in the old town. Ayutthaya Train Station is 600 m from the property, so trains are a practical option for getting in and out of town.

A good day here starts with the temples of the old town in the morning and ends with a walk along the river in the afternoon or evening. The Chao Phrom market is a short walk from the property, so the local market can be part of the day too, and bicycles are an easy way to cover the distances between the sites.
