Chang Guesthouse

Rooms at Chang Guesthouse are set up for up to two guests, with a double bed, air conditioning and a city view. The Standard Double Bed measures 28 m², and it comes with bathrobes, towels and a hair dryer.

Rooms can have a refrigerator, free bottled water, a desk, a seating area and an in-room safe box, plus satellite or cable channels on the TV. Wi-Fi is free in all rooms, and the rooms have a shower.

The outdoor swimming pool is set among tropical gardens and has sun loungers by the poolside, a good place to cool off after a day of exploring Phuket. A sauna is available for guests, and massage treatments are offered at the property, including Thai and oil massages. Guests can swim a few laps in the pool or simply relax on the loungers.

There is a restaurant, a coffee shop and a bar on site, and a buffet breakfast is served. A 24-hour front desk, laundry service, safety deposit boxes and business facilities are also available.

English and Thai are the languages available at the property, and Wi-Fi is free in all rooms and offered in public areas as well.

Patong is one of Phuket's liveliest beach towns, with a long stretch of sand lined with hotels, bars and restaurants. Chang Guesthouse sits on Nanai Road in the Patong area, so the beach, the shops and the evening life of the town are all close at hand. Patong Beach is the closest beach to the guesthouse, and the evening life spreads out from Bangla Road, a street known for its bars and nightlife, which is 900 m away.

Jungceylon Shopping Center is 550 m from the guesthouse, a large mall where you can shop and eat in the evening. The Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of Phuket's most revered Buddhist temples, is 5.9 km away, and it is a good place to see the island's religious heritage. Big Buddha Phuket, a large statue on a hill, is 7 km off and gives a good idea of the scale of the island's landmarks.

Phuket International Airport (HKT) is 24.6 km away, which is the usual arrival point for visitors to the island. A good day could start with a swim at the outdoor pool, continue on Patong Beach and the shops of Jungceylon, and end with the cabaret show at Phuket FantaSea, a theme park with an evening show.
