Chandee Guesthouse

The rooms at Chandee Guesthouse include double rooms, twin rooms and a superior room with a balcony or terrace and a seating area. Two of the rooms measure 12 m² and have no window, while others measure 18 m². Several rooms have air conditioning and free bottled water, and most rooms have a private shower.

Capacity runs up to five guests in one room and up to three guests in the others. Children aged 0 to 11 can stay free of charge when using existing bedding. Extra beds depend on the room chosen, and an extra bed carries an additional charge.

Guests can use an airport transfer, car hire, a taxi service, tours and ticket services, which cover the main ways of getting around Krabi province.

Daily housekeeping and laundry service are offered, and there is a restaurant as well as a massage service. English and Thai are spoken at the guesthouse.

Ao Nang is a beach resort area on the mainland coast of Krabi province, where limestone cliffs rise above the Andaman Sea and the bay is dotted with islands. Chandee Guesthouse is in the resort strip of Ao Nang, which appeals to travellers who want the beach, restaurants and evening stalls close at hand. It is a setting for a beach holiday as much as for day trips by boat.

Ao Nang Beach is the closest beach, about 550 m away, and across the bay the Railay peninsula, with its limestone cliffs, can be reached only by longtail boat. Railay is 2.3 km away, and Phra Nang Cave is 3.5 km away. The Ao Nang Night Market has evening stalls with food and everyday goods, and Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea) is a hillside temple complex 14.8 km away.

A good day here starts on Ao Nang Beach, continues by longtail boat to Railay and ends at the night market. The islands of Poda and Tup are also reached by boat from the bay, and the Hong Islands are a longer boat trip. Tours are offered at the guesthouse, and Krabi International Airport lies 18.4 km away for those arriving by air.
