The Big Buddha on Nakkerd Hill is 3.5 km from the guesthouse, and its hilltop setting gives wide views over the island. The temple grounds and the hill are both easy to visit in a single morning. Chalong Pier is 150 m away, where boats leave for trips to the islands, and Phuket International Airport is 32.6 km away.

A good day could start with a morning visit to Wat Chalong, followed by the Big Buddha, then lunch in the area. In the afternoon, Kata Beach, 4.9 km away, is a good place to swim, and Karon Beach lies right next to it. Back at the guesthouse, the free parking makes it simple to collect the car after a day of sightseeing.
