Cha-Ba Lanta Resort & Bungalow

The rooms and bungalows at Cha-Ba Lanta Resort & Bungalow measure between 25 and 48 m² and sleep from two to seven guests. The rooms have a shower, toiletries and satellite or cable channels. Several rooms have garden views, some have pool views, and one bungalow has a beach view.

The Family Garden View has two bunk beds and a king bed, and the Superior Bungalow has a balcony with outdoor furniture. Air conditioning and blackout curtains come with several of the rooms, and the Grand Deluxe Room has a pool view. The Executive Triple Room sleeps up to five guests, with air conditioning, linens and towels.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, a children's swimming pool and a poolside bar, along with a private beach. Diving, snorkelling, bicycle rental and tours are also offered, and the private beach is beachfront.

Food is served in several ways: restaurant breakfast, lunch and dinner, a la carte meals, BBQ facilities, room service and food delivery. There is also a bar, and a kids meal is offered.

Free parking is available on site, and free WiFi is available in all rooms, with WiFi also in public areas. There is an airport transfer, and the resort has laundry service, luggage storage, safety deposit boxes and a concierge. A children's playground is also on site.

Klong Dao Beach is a sandy stretch on Koh Lanta, an island reached by ferry from the Krabi mainland. The beach sits beside a small village, where a few bars and shops line the road, and the resort is set back from the sand, so the water is a short walk away.

Kantiang Bay and Long Beach are both close by, and both have sand to walk on. Inland, Khao Mai Kaew Cave is 12.1 km away, and Mu Ko Lanta National Park, a marine park that covers Koh Lanta and nearby islands, is 19.7 km away. Sala Dan Pier, the ferry terminal, is 2 km away, and Klong Dao Beach is the closest beach to the resort.

A good day can start with a swim at Klong Dao Beach, continue with a boat trip into Mu Ko Lanta National Park and end with an evening in Lanta Old Town. Koh Lanta has roads between its beaches, so the sights inland can be reached without a boat. Lanta Old Town, with its local bars and shops, makes a good evening stop. Diving and snorkelling are offered at the resort itself, and the sea is a short walk from the rooms.
