Aquaria Phuket, an aquarium, is 250 m away, and Baan Chinpracha, a Sino-Portuguese mansion turned museum, is in the old town. Wat Khao Rang, a hilltop pagoda with views over Phuket Town, rises above the old town, and Wat Chalong, one of the island's most important temples, is 5.6 km away. Patong Beach, the best-known beach resort and home to the bars of Bangla Road, is 7.9 km from the property, and Phuket International Airport is 25.8 km away.

A good day starts with the fresh market and the shophouses of the old town, then continues by car to Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha, both a drive away from the property. Phuket is connected to the mainland by bridge, so the airport and the beach areas are reached by road. The old town's shophouses are best explored on foot, while the Big Buddha is a separate trip.
