Railay Beach, 2 km away, is reached only by longtail boat and is known for its limestone cliffs, with Phra Nang Cave on the same peninsula. Krabi International Airport is 18.9 km away, and the Ao Nang Night Market is 1.6 km away.

A day out often starts at the pier, with longtail boat trips to nearby islands such as Poda and Tup, and to the cliffs of Railay.
