Ao Nang is a beach town on the Andaman coast of Krabi province, where a long stretch of sand is lined with hotels, restaurants and dive shops. The hotel is about 250 m from Noppharathara Beach, and the area is lively in the evenings, with a steady flow of visitors along the sand and the streets behind it. Restaurants, bars and massage shops line the streets, so the evenings are easy to spend without leaving the area.

Around the hotel, Ao Nang Night Market is 150 m away and is one of the places the town is known for after dark. Ao Nang Beach continues along the same bay. A little farther out, Railay Beach is 3.5 km away and is reached by longtail boat from Ao Nang, with its limestone cliffs rising above the sand. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea) is 15.1 km away near Krabi town, a hillside temple complex reached by road.

A good day could combine a longtail boat trip to Railay with an afternoon back at the pool. Poda Island and Tup Island are also reached by boat from Ao Nang, and in the rainy months rough seas can stop boat trips. Krabi International Airport is the nearest airport to the hotel, so most guests arrive by road from there.
