The Phuket Big Buddha, a large seated statue on a hill, is 1.7 km away, and Wat Chalong, one of the island's most important temples, is 5 km from the guesthouse. Wat Kitti Sangkharam, a pagoda, is nearby, and a minibus station is 250 m away. Phuket International Airport is 32.8 km away.

A good day could start on Kata Beach, continue to the Big Buddha and the temple at Chalong, and end at the night market on the Kata walking street, which is a short walk from the guesthouse. The Big Buddha stands on a hilltop, and its setting gives views over the surrounding hills. Kata Open Market is also close by, and food stalls line the roads near the walking street in the evening.
