A day could start with a swim at Bang Niang Beach, continue to the Tsunami Museum and end with a walk around Bang Niang Market in the afternoon. Trips to the Similan Islands depend on the park's seasonal opening, which closes during part of the rainy season, and boats leave from the mainland piers, so an early start helps.
