Casa Cactus

Both apartments at Casa Cactus are air-conditioned and measure 40 m². Each one sleeps up to two guests and has a double bed, and each has its own private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels.

The apartments come with a flat-screen TV, an electric kettle and a fan. Across the property, rooms can also have a kitchenette, a full kitchen, a refrigerator and a balcony or terrace. One of the two apartments overlooks the mountains.

Casa Cactus has free parking on site, free Wi-Fi in all rooms and Wi-Fi in its public areas. Air conditioning is available in the public area as well as in the rooms, and express check-in and check-out are offered, along with private check-in and check-out. English and Spanish are spoken at the property.

The garden and the terrace are part of the grounds, and the property has family rooms as well as non-smoking rooms. Casa Cactus is in Bo Phut, one of the older villages on Koh Samui, where the beach, the walking street and a lively evening food market sit close together. Hat Bang Rak beach is a short walk away, and the sea is 130 m from the property. The village grew up around its fishing harbour, and the lanes near the sea now hold small shops and cafés.

The island's airport, Samui Airport, is 1.2 km away, so the property is close to the main arrival point on Koh Samui. Nearby sights include the Big Buddha, the large seated Buddha on its hill 1.6 km away, and the Samui Elephant Sanctuary in Bophut, an elephant sanctuary. Central Festival Samui, a large shopping centre, is also in the area, and the Samui Crocodile Farm, a zoo with crocodiles, is 1.4 km away.

For a full day, combine the Big Buddha with an evening at the Bophut food market, then walk the Fisherman's Village street, lined with shops and cafés in a former fishing village. These sights are spread along the coast, so a taxi or songthaew is the simplest way to cover them in one day. The beach is close enough for a swim before or after the day's visits.
