Buppha Resort

Buppha Resort has standard double and twin rooms, along with a Deluxe Double Room of 32 m² with a mountain view. Some of the standard rooms measure 18 m² or 20 m², and the rooms sleep between two and four guests, so families and small groups can book together in one room.

Several rooms have a balcony or terrace, air conditioning and a refrigerator, and rooms with a shower also have a desk and satellite or cable channels on the TV. The Deluxe Double Room also has a kettle, a microwave, a dining table and a private bathroom, with a mountain view from its windows.

Both communities have their own stretches of sand, and the coast here is the main reason people come to the area.

Inland, Ton Chong Fa Waterfall, 4.9 km from the resort, is a waterfall in the Khao Lak hills and one of the best-known falls in the area. Further out, Similan National Park, 12.5 km from the resort, is made up of islands in the Andaman Sea that are reached by boat from the mainland, and it is one of the best-known marine parks in Thailand. The International Tsunami Museum, in the same area, covers the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami that struck this coast, and the Bangnieng Afternoon Market is also nearby.

A practical day could combine a morning on Khuk Khak Beach with a visit to the tsunami museum and a stop at the afternoon market in Bang Niang. Those who want a longer outing can plan a trip to the Similan Islands by boat from the mainland. The nearest airport, Phuket International, is 64.1 km away, so the drive from it takes a while and is best planned in advance.
