Bounty Resort

The rooms at Bounty Resort include bungalows, studios, a suite and double rooms, with sea, garden and ocean views depending on the room. Beds include double, queen, king and single beds, and some rooms pair a single bed with a king bed. Air conditioning and a private entrance come with many of the rooms, and most rooms have a private bathroom.

The studio suite and the standard bungalow sleep up to four and five guests, while the bungalows and studios are set among the resort's gardens. Several rooms have a sea view and others overlook the garden, so the view depends on the room you book and the part of the resort it is in.

Bounty Resort has an outdoor and an indoor swimming pool, a private beach, a garden and a massage service. Restaurants, a coffee shop, room service and food delivery cover meals, and a convenience store is on the property.

The resort also offers diving, fishing and snorkelling, along with tours, car hire, a shuttle service and a taxi service. Dry cleaning, luggage storage, safety deposit boxes and daily housekeeping are available, and the resort has facilities for disabled guests and a terrace. Family rooms and non-smoking rooms are offered, and on-site parking, bicycle parking and valet parking are available. Wi-Fi is offered in all rooms and in the public areas, and business facilities, including a business centre, are also available.

Bounty Resort is set in the Haad Yao area of Ko Pha-ngan, an island in the Gulf of Thailand known for its beaches, its green hills and its quiet bays. The coast around the resort is lined with beaches and smaller resorts, while the interior of the island is wooded and hilly. The sea is close, and the island's green interior is easy to reach for a day out. Ferries and boats are the way on and off the island, so the crossing is part of the holiday.

Haad Yao (West) beach is 100 m from the resort, and Salad Beach is 1.1 km away along the coast. The Wang Sai waterfall is 2.5 km away, and the Wat Sri Thanu pagoda is 2 km away. The resort also has its own private beach, so the sea is part of the grounds.

For a day out, the Wang Sai waterfall and the Wat Sri Thanu pagoda make a natural pair, and diving, snorkelling and tours are offered at the resort itself. Samui Airport on the neighbouring island of Ko Samui is 27.3 km away across the water, so the last part of the journey to Ko Pha-ngan is by boat. Sea conditions can make boat crossings rougher in the rainy months.
