The Andaman Art Museum and the Mangrove Boardwalk are also in the area, and Chaofa Pier, a ferry pier, is near the town centre. Tiger Cave Temple, 6.9 km away, is a hillside temple reached by a long staircase, and Ao Nang Beach, 10.1 km away, is a busy beach town with boats to nearby islands.

A day here can begin at Wat Kaew Korawaram and the Andaman Art Museum, then continue to Ao Nang Beach or the Tiger Cave Temple by road, or to the islands by boat from the piers. Krabi International Airport is 8.7 km away, so the hotel is reached by road from there. The temple, the walking street and the museum are all close to the hotel, so the town itself is easy to explore from here, with the markets and shops of the centre close at hand.
