Boondaree Home Resort

Rooms at Boondaree Home Resort can have air conditioning, a shower with toiletries, a refrigerator and free bottled water, along with a TV with satellite and cable channels. Some have a balcony or terrace, and some overlook the pool while others face the mountains. Free WiFi is available in all rooms.

The 20 m² rooms and the 32 m² Deluxe Room each have a King bed and sleep up to two guests, and one room at the resort sleeps up to three. Some bathrooms have a hair dryer, and some rooms have a closet. Guests choose between a pool view and a mountain view when they book.

Boondaree Home Resort is in Kata, so the sand, the cafés and the street food stalls are close, while the busier resort towns of the island lie further along the coast. The area works well for a beach stay with easy access to the rest of Phuket.

The Big Buddha, a large white statue on a hilltop, is 1 km from the resort, and Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is 4.3 km away. Wat Chalong is Phuket's most revered temple and one of the island's best-known places of worship. Patong Beach, the island's liveliest resort town with its Bangla Road nightlife, is 7.7 km away. Nai Harn Beach, a sandy bay with a lake behind it, is a short drive further on.

A good day could start on Kata Beach, 1.1 km from the resort, then continue to the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong before an evening in Patong. Phuket International Airport is 32.4 km away, and the resort offers an airport transfer, so arrivals by air can be arranged without a long search for a ride.
