Boom Hostel Khaosok

Boom Hostel Khaosok has twin and single rooms as well as beds in mixed dormitories of four and eight beds. Several rooms have a shared bathroom with a shower, and they come with a hair dryer, toiletries and towels.

The twin room with a shared bathroom measures 12 m² and has a bunk bed, while the single bed in a mixed dormitory measures 16 m². Rooms are cleaned daily, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Khao Sok National Park is 900 m from the hostel, and the Khao Sok Valley Viewpoint is 1.5 km away, where the valley opens out below. The Wing Hin waterfall is 1.7 km away, and Wat Tham Panthurat, a temple, is close by. AOR Pharmacy is 300 m away, for everyday needs such as medicine and toiletries.

A day out could combine the park's rainforest trails with the Wing Hin waterfall, and the valley viewpoint makes a good stop before or after, when the light is good for views over the hills. Limestone cliffs rise over the valley, and the slower pace of the area suits a stay of several days. The last stretch from Surat Thani Airport, 72.5 km away, is by road, so the transfer from the airport is the longest part of the journey.
