BOHO Hostel

Every room at BOHO Hostel has air conditioning. The rooms measure 15 m² and each has a double bed for up to two guests. Guests can choose a standard double room or a double room with a sea view, which has a balcony or terrace.

Both rooms include a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries, towels and linens. Rooms also have outdoor furniture, a separate dining area and board games or puzzles.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and in the public areas, and the public areas are air-conditioned as well, so the air conditioning covers the shared spaces too. The hostel has an on-site bar and a terrace.

A designated smoking area is set aside for guests who smoke, and non-smoking rooms are also available for guests who do not.

The languages spoken include English, Hungarian and Thai. The hostel is managed by a private host, and English, Hungarian and Thai are spoken there, so guests from several countries can be understood.

Saladan is the main village on Koh Lanta, a long island in Krabi province in southern Thailand, and the ferries from the mainland dock at its pier. BOHO Hostel is in the village itself, so guests arriving by boat reach it straight from the pier, and the ferries back to the mainland also leave from there.

Sala Dan Pier, the ferry terminal, is 100 m away, and Kantiang Bay is 750 m from the hostel. Klong Dao Beach is 1.6 km away, so the island's beaches are close to the village. Khao Mai Kaew Cave and Lanta Old Town are further away on the island, and the island has caves and a waterfall as well as its beaches.

A day could begin with a swim at Kantiang Bay and continue to Klong Dao Beach, then to Mu Ko Lanta National Park, a marine park covering the islands and reefs around Koh Lanta, 20.9 km away. Krabi International Airport, 50.4 km away on the mainland, is the nearest airport, and the trip to the island ends by boat. Several days are enough to see the island's beaches, caves and waterfalls, and the on-site bar at the hostel serves drinks and cocktails for the evening.
