Bodega Phuket Patong is on Rat-U-Thit 200 Years Road, where the beach and the nightlife are both nearby, and that mix of sea and city is what the area is known for.

The beach is 440 m from the hostel, and Bangla Road, the main street of bars and nightlife, is 400 m away. Jungceylon Shopping Center, 300 m from the hostel, is one of the resort's best-known shopping centres. Further afield, Wat Chalong, one of the island's best-known temples, is 6.4 km away, and the Big Buddha, a large white seated Buddha on Nakkerd Hills, is 7.2 km away.

A day could start with a swim at the beach, continue with a visit to Wat Chalong or the Big Buddha, and end at the Banzaan Fresh Market at night, which is close by, or on the street life of Bangla Road. Car and scooter rental shops are common along the main roads. The beach, the shops and Bangla Road are all in the same part of the resort, so a day can move between them without changing area.
