Blue Paradise Residence

The accommodation offers double rooms from 14 m² up to two villas of 110 m² and 120 m², with garden views in the villas and in a double room with a patio. Every room has a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, a hair dryer, toiletries and an electric kettle, along with satellite channels, a DVD player and a radio.

The villas sleep up to five and seven guests and offer a choice of bed set-ups, while the double rooms have a double bed and sleep two. Board games and puzzles are available in all rooms too.

The spa offers sauna, massage, body scrubs and body wraps, with a hot tub on site and air conditioning in the public areas. The grounds include a garden, and massage treatments can be booked alongside the sauna and hot tub.

For getting around, there is an airport transfer and bicycles, and tours can be arranged. Currency exchange, luggage storage, daily housekeeping and laundry service are also available.

Dining covers a restaurant, a bar, a coffee shop, a snack bar, BBQ facilities and a shared kitchen, with food and grocery delivery. Activities include snorkelling and fishing, and Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and the internet services cover the public areas too.

Rawai is a fishing village on the southern side of Phuket, quieter than the resort beaches on the west coast and built around a working waterfront. Blue Paradise Residence is on Soi Werachod, close to the Sea Gypsies Fish Market (150 m) and Ra Wai Beach (550 m). The streets near the waterfront have food stalls and small shops, typical of a working fishing village.

Big Buddha, the large white statue on the Nakkerd Hills, is 5.6 km away, and Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is 7.4 km away. Both are reached by road, and Patong, the best-known beach resort on the west coast, is 12.5 km away for those who want a livelier evening. The airport is a longer journey by road, and the guesthouse offers an airport transfer for arrivals.

A good day could start with a walk to Ra Wai Beach and a look at the fish market, then continue to Wat Chalong and Big Buddha in the afternoon. Rawai Pier, a short walk from the market, is the starting point for boat trips around the nearby islands, and snorkelling is also possible. The garden offers a quiet break between outings, and the evenings can be spent back on the waterfront among the local shops and stalls.
