Blue Ocean Resort offers rooms and suites in a choice of bed set-ups, from the 42 m² Deluxe Room and Superior Room to the 80 m² one-bedroom suite. Several rooms have a pool view, the Grand Deluxe Room has a mountain view, and the rooms can have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a telephone, bathrobes, a hair dryer and toiletries. Phuket is linked to the mainland by a bridge, so the airport and the rest of the island are easy to reach by road. Patong's seafront road is lined with hotels, shops and food stalls.

Bangla Road, Patong's lively nightlife street, is 1.1 km away, and Karon Beach, a quieter stretch of sand next to Patong, is 2.8 km from the hotel. Further afield, the Big Buddha on its hilltop is 6.6 km away. Phuket International Airport is 25.3 km away by road.

One day could start with a swim at Patong Beach, continue to Karon Beach for a quieter afternoon, and end with dinner and the night market on Bangla Road. The Big Buddha makes a good trip for a morning out. Evenings are the busiest time in Patong, when the beach road, Bangla Road and the night market fill with visitors, and from the hotel the beach and the market are both within a short walk.
