Blue Beach Grand Resort and Spa

The rooms at Blue Beach Grand Resort and Spa have sea, mountain and pool views, and several measure 40 m². Some sleep two guests and others up to five, so couples and larger parties can both find a room that fits. A few rooms look over the pool, while others have sea or mountain views, so the view depends on the room you choose.

Rooms can have a balcony or terrace, a mini bar, a refrigerator and blackout curtains, and several include complimentary access to the spa. Some bathrooms have a bathtub or whirlpool bathtub, and rooms can also include a separate dining area, a seating area and an in-room safe.

Chalong is a settled area of Phuket island, built around Chalong Bay and known for its temples. Blue Beach Grand Resort and Spa is a short walk from Chalong Beach, and Patong, with its busy nightlife, is 10 km away, so the resort offers a quieter base for exploring the island. The area feels calmer than Phuket Town, and the sights are spread out, so a car or taxi is the easiest way to reach most of them.

Wat Chalong, also called Chaithararam Temple, is 4.1 km away and is one of the most revered temples on the island. The Big Buddha Phuket, a large hilltop statue, is 3.5 km away. On the beaches, Kata Beach is 4.4 km away and Nai Harn Beach is 5.2 km away, both popular with visitors for swimming and walks.

A good day could begin at Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha, then continue to the beaches. The Phuket Seashell Museum, a small museum devoted to seashells, is a short walk from the resort, and the Night Market is a short walk away for the evening. Chalong Pier, the ferry terminal for boat trips, is also close to the resort, so the evening and the boats can be part of the same day.
