Ban Nai Sa is a village area in Krabi province in southern Thailand, set among limestone hills, forest and mangrove creeks. The area is more village than resort, away from the busiest beaches. Khlong Nai Sa, a canal, runs nearby, and several hills rise close to the village.
Krabi International Airport is 22 km away, and Ao Nang Beach, the main beach of the resort area, is 15 km away. Railay Beach, 17.8 km away, is a peninsula of limestone cliffs and beaches that is reached mainly by longtail boat from Ao Nang. The Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea) is a Buddhist temple complex on a hillside. Closer to the property, the Khao Thong Viewpoint, 4.8 km away, overlooks the surrounding hills, and kayaking through the mangrove forest at Ao Thalane is possible.
A good day could begin at the Khao Thong Viewpoint, continue with a kayak trip through the Ao Thalane mangrove forest, and end on Ao Nang Beach. Boats from Ao Nang reach Railay and the islands of Poda, Tup and the Hong group. Ao Nang is the busier side of the area, with more restaurants and shops than the village. The boats to Railay leave from Ao Nang.
