Blu' Beach Bungalows

The bungalows at Blu' Beach Bungalows come with king beds, queen beds or two single beds, depending on the bungalow. Some look out over the sea, others over the garden or nature, and a few have a balcony or terrace where you can sit outdoors. Each bungalow has its own outlook, from the sea to the garden.

Rooms can include a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries, a closet and a clothes rack. Air conditioning is available in some bungalows and a fan in others, while TV, a refrigerator and a coffee and tea maker are provided in some. Free WiFi is available in all rooms.

The grounds of Blu' Beach Bungalows include an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor swimming pool, a garden and a solarium, so the outdoor areas are shared by both pools and the garden. On site there is a restaurant, a bar, a poolside bar, a coffee shop and a kitchen.

The property offers continental breakfast. Activities include canoeing, diving, fishing and snorkelling, and tours can be arranged for trips around the island.

There is an airport transfer and a shuttle service, a taxi service is offered and car hire is available. Daily housekeeping, dry cleaning, safety deposit boxes and a kids meal are also offered, and English, French and Thai are spoken.

Lamai Beach is a long, sandy bay on Koh Samui, and Blu' Beach Bungalows is 50 m from the sand, so the sea is the main draw of the area. The village of Baan Lamai is close by, and the beach road has street-food stalls, beach bars and massage shops along its length.

Lamai Night Market and Silver Beach are both close by, and Wat Lamai, the local pagoda, is a short distance away. Further afield, Hin Ta & Hin Yai, the rock formations known as Grandma and Grandpa Rocks, lie 3 km away, and the Big Buddha temple near Bophut is 11.1 km from the property. The Koh Koon viewpoint looks over the small islet of the same name, 2.2 km away. Fisherman's Village, a small area of shops and cafés in Bophut, is also worth a visit. Samui Airport is 8.6 km away, on Koh Samui itself.

A good day could start with a swim at Lamai Beach, continue to the rock formations at Hin Ta & Hin Yai, and end with dinner at the Lamai Night Market. Big Buddha, near Bophut, makes a fuller day out alongside Fisherman's Village, and Na Muang Waterfall is another place to visit on the island.
