Rooms at bloo Hostel go from family rooms with bunk beds to private rooms with a queen bed, a double bed or two single beds. Family rooms sleep up to six guests, and the mixed dormitory has its own bunk bed for a single guest.

The private rooms have a private bathroom, while the family rooms and the dormitory share a bathroom. A 24 m² deluxe family room has a street view and blackout curtains, and a loft twin room has a seating area next to its two single beds. Towels and toiletries are provided in the private rooms, and the family rooms have linens.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and there is free parking on site. For meals, the hostel has a restaurant and a bar, and room service is offered as well. Air conditioning is available in the public areas too.

The area is for those who want to stay in the town itself, and the historic quarter is close by. Evenings here are quieter than on the beaches, and the day-to-day life of the island is more visible than on the coast.

The Phuket Town local bus station is 50 m away, and the Phuket Philatelic Museum is 350 m away. Shophouses with colourful facades line the streets close to the hostel, giving the old town its character. A little further on are Museum Phuket, the Sino-Portuguese mansion of Baan Chinpracha and the Talad Kaset market, a local market for everyday goods. Thalang Road, the old town's main street, is a short distance from the hostel.

For beaches, Patong Beach is 11.1 km away, and Phuket International Airport is 27.1 km away, so the hostel suits a stop in town rather than a beach stay. In the evening, the Lard Yai Sunday Night Market and the Plein Poa Night Market are good places to browse, and a day in the old town can easily be combined with a visit to the museums along the same streets.
