Blackjack Bar and Hostel

The hostel has a private queen room and a bunk bed in a mixed dormitory room, each measuring 14 m². Across the property, rooms can have air conditioning, linens, toiletries, towels and a seating area.

The private room has a queen bed for up to two guests and its own bathroom with a shower. The dormitory bunk is for one guest and uses a shared bathroom.

Transport and tours are the practical side of the hostel: an airport transfer, a shuttle service, car hire and a taxi service can be arranged, and ticket services are available for attractions and entertainment. Luggage storage and lockers are offered, and daily housekeeping and laundry service are part of the stay.

For food and evenings there is a bar, a coffee shop, grocery delivery and a shared lounge and TV area, and a pub crawl and on-site entertainment are also offered. A massage service and a salon are on site, and a convenience store covers small needs. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and internet services and Wi-Fi in public areas are offered too.

Chaweng is the busiest beach area on Koh Samui, with a long stretch of sand on the east coast and a lively strip of restaurants, bars and shops running alongside it. Water sports such as jet skis and parasailing are common along the sand, and street-food stalls and massage shops line the streets off the beach road. The hostel is in Chaweng itself, so those restaurants, bars and shops are nearby, and Chaweng Yai Beach is 450 m away.

Central Festival Samui, a large shopping centre, is 150 m away, and the Night Market is 350 m away, so food and everyday shopping are covered on foot. Chaweng Boxing Stadium is also close by. Samui Airport is 1.8 km away and is the nearest airport to the hostel.

A day out can take in the Big Buddha, 4.3 km from the hostel, and Fisherman's Village in Bophut, which is a change of scene from the beach. Wat Plai Laem, with its large Guanyin statue, is close to the Big Buddha, and Hin Ta and Hin Yai rocks are near Lamai Beach. All of them are reachable by road from Chaweng. For a longer trip, Na Muang Waterfall in the island's interior is worth the drive.
