Beehive Phuket Oldtown Hostel

The rooms at Beehive Phuket Oldtown Hostel are mostly mixed dormitories, measuring from 12 m² to 32 m², with queen beds or bunk beds. The two 24 m² dormitories have six queen beds each. Several dormitories share a bathroom with a shower, a hair dryer and toiletries, and many have air conditioning.

Two 30 m² rooms, one with a city view and one with a pool view, sleep up to three guests. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and a few dormitories have a seating area, a closet and outdoor furniture. Free bottled water is available in some of the dormitories.

Phuket Old Town is 400 m from the hostel, and the streets around it hold the Peranakan Museum, which shows the culture of the Peranakan families who settled here, and the Phuket Philatelic Museum. The Lard Yai Sunday Night Market has food stalls and street vendors on Sunday evenings. Wat Chalong, the Chaithararam Temple, is 7.6 km away and is one of the island's best-known temples.

A day could begin with a walk through the old town's shophouse streets and a visit to the Phuket Philatelic Museum, then continue with Wat Chalong or with Patong Beach, 10.7 km away, for the sea. Phuket International Airport is 26.7 km away, and the hostel offers an airport transfer. Phuket Town's quieter evenings suit a slower pace after a day of sightseeing, with the Sunday night market close by.
