Beach Club Koh Tao

The rooms at Beach Club Koh Tao measure between 22 m² and 36 m² and come with double, queen or single beds. Several overlook the sea, others face the pool, and one 36 m² room with a sea view sleeps up to five guests.

Most rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, hair dryer, toiletries and towels, and some include a refrigerator. Air conditioning is in several rooms, and bed layouts run from single beds to queen beds, depending on the room. Free WiFi is available in all rooms, and the rooms with a pool view look out over the swimming pool area of the property.

Beach Club Koh Tao is in Mae Haad, the village around the ferry pier on Ko Tao in the Gulf of Thailand. Ko Tao has no airport and no bridge, so the last part of any journey to the island is made by boat, and the village is where the boats arrive. Diving is one of the island's best-known activities, and the sea around it suits snorkelling as well.

Haad Ao Mae, a beach in the village itself, lies 150 m away. Sairee Beach, one of the island's best-known beaches, is 250 m from the hotel and is a long stretch of sand lined with dive shops and restaurants. Further along, the Sairee Viewpoint, 1.4 km away, overlooks Sairee beach and Koh Nang Yuan, a small island just offshore. A shrine honouring King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) is also nearby, and the area around the village has small shops and restaurants for everyday needs.

A day here often starts on the private beach or at the swimming pool, followed by snorkelling or diving, both of which are available at the property. Bicycles are offered for getting around, and in the evening a massage at the property or a walk along the sand at Sairee Beach makes a simple end to the day. The island's airports are a long way off, at 65.4 km for Samui Airport and 86.4 km for Chumphon Airport, so the boat remains part of the trip.
