Boon Lott's Elephant Sanctuary is 24.4 km away, and a car is the practical way to reach the sites, since they are spread across a wide area.

A good day out could start at the Si Satchanalai ruins and continue to Sukhothai Historical Park. Visitors who want to see the ceramics can add Sawankhalok, a town on the Yom River known for its historic ceramic kilns, to the route. Spending a full day on the historic sites makes the most of the area, and the Ramkhamhaeng National Museum adds the region's history to the visit.
