Bantai Resort

Every room at Bantai Resort has a private entrance. The rooms measure between 17 and 25 m² and sleep up to two guests, with two single beds, two double beds or one double bed depending on the room. Several of them overlook the garden, and some open onto a balcony or terrace, with a seating area in a couple of the rooms.

Air conditioning is available in several rooms, and every room has a shower and toiletries. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, so the view, the balcony and the air conditioning change from one room to the next, and the details of each room are set out in its own card below.

The resort has restaurants, a coffee shop, BBQ facilities and room service, and the front desk is open 24 hours a day. For relaxation there is a spa, a sauna and massage, along with a garden and outdoor recreational features.

Tours can be arranged, car hire is available, and the resort offers an airport transfer and a shuttle service. Guests can also use luggage storage, laundry service, daily housekeeping and ticket services.

Free parking is available. English and Thai are spoken by the staff, and there are facilities for disabled guests. Bantai Resort sits in the village area of Ban Tai on Ko Pha-ngan, an island in the Gulf of Thailand. The surroundings are village-based, with local temples, a night market and a few beaches within a short distance, so the area suits guests who want to see the island beyond its main beaches. Ko Pha-ngan is reached by boat, and the neighbouring island of Ko Samui has the nearest airport, so the last part of most journeys is a crossing.

Within a short walk are Wat Khao Tham, a Buddhist temple 550 m from the resort, and Wat Nai, a temple around 1.1 km away. The Night Market is 1 km away, and Haad Baan Tai, the nearest beach, is 950 m from the resort. Haad Baan Kai is a second beach a little further from the resort, so the beaches are close enough to reach in a short trip. The evening market and the temples make the area easy to explore on foot, while the rest of the island is reached by road.

For a longer day out, Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach, one of the island's best-known beaches, is 8.8 km away. Planning the day around the temples in the morning and the beach in the afternoon keeps the trip simple, and the walk back to the resort is short when you have seen the nearby sights.
