Bang Kachao -Private Pool Villa

The villa is let as one house of 620 m² that sleeps up to nine guests, with air conditioning, a private entrance and a choice of bed set-ups. It also has a private outdoor pool, three bathrooms and a kitchen for self-catering.

Guests also have satellite and cable channels on the television, a hair dryer, toiletries, linens and a coffee and tea maker. Everything in the house is for the group alone, from the private entrance to the pool.

The villa is set up for self-catering, with a kitchen that includes cookware, oils and condiments, a stove, a refrigerator, a freezer and a microwave, along with a coffee or tea maker and a BBQ grill. Dishes and dining utensils are provided.

The villa is in Phra Pradaeng District of Samut Prakan, on the southern edge of Bangkok, in the Bang Kachao green area that is often called the green lung of the city. Here the setting is canals, orchards, village lanes and small temples rather than high-rise streets, and the river ferry piers are a short ride away.

Bang Nam Pueng Floating Market is about 1.1 km away, a canal-side market selling local food and snacks. On Nut BTS Station is 3.2 km away, the nearest station on the Sukhumvit line for travel into the city, and the Grand Palace is around 11.4 km away, reached by taxi or car. Suvarnabhumi Airport, the main international airport, is around 18.8 km from the villa.

A good day here can start at the canal-side floating market, continue at a riverside temple such as Wat Bang Nam Phueng Nok, and end in the villa's private pool. For a fuller day in town, the Grand Palace is the classic choice, and the pool is a fitting way to end it. The area also suits a slow morning, with quiet lanes around the villa and the river a short ride away, so the day can begin at a pace set by the water.
