Banana Fan Sea Resort

Every room at Banana Fan Sea Resort has a private bathroom with towels, toiletries and a hair dryer, and the rooms measure from 26 m² to 160 m². Both garden views and sea views are available, from the Standard Room to the two-bedroom villas. Beds vary by room, with some rooms offering a choice of bed set-ups.

The two-bedroom villas and the two-bedroom room with a roof deck sleep up to five guests, and the Executive Suite has a balcony or terrace, a mini bar and a refrigerator. Several rooms have a flat-screen TV or satellite and cable channels, and the villas have separate showers and bathtubs.

Banana Fan Sea Resort has an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool and a children's swimming pool, along with a fitness centre, a massage service, a private beach and a beachfront location. The restaurants include a coffee shop, a snack bar, a poolside bar and a kitchen, and room service and food delivery are offered too.

The resort offers an airport transfer and car hire, and tours and bicycles are available, along with water sports, both motorised and non-motorised. Luggage storage, laundry service, daily housekeeping and babysitting service are available, and there is a playground and facilities for disabled guests. The public areas are air-conditioned, and there is a lift.

Chaweng is the best-known beach area on Koh Samui, a long stretch of sand where resorts, bars and shops sit close to the water. Banana Fan Sea Resort is on Chaweng Beach itself, so the sand and the evening life of the area are close at hand. Street-food stalls and massage shops line the roads behind the beach.

Chaweng Walking Street begins 250 m from the resort, a pedestrian strip of shops and bars that fills up in the evening. Central Festival Samui, a large shopping centre, is 1.1 km away, and Laem Din Market and the Chaweng Night Market are also close by. Samui Airport is 2.8 km away, and the resort offers an airport transfer and car hire. Big Buddha, a large statue on a hill, is 5.3 km away, and Na Muang Waterfall, in the island's interior, is 9.5 km away.

A practical day starts on the resort's beach, continues with a visit to Big Buddha, and finishes on Chaweng Walking Street in the evening. Chaweng Yai Beach is also close, for a second stretch of sand. The afternoon can start with a tour arranged through the resort, and bicycles are also available for shorter trips. For a longer excursion, Na Muang Waterfall is the natural choice, reached by car from Chaweng.
