Banana Beach Resort

The rooms at Banana Beach Resort include sea-view and garden-view rooms, along with one room with a mountain view. Rooms can have air conditioning, a shower with toiletries, a desk, a refrigerator and a balcony or terrace, depending on the room.

Kantiang Bay, 2.1 km away, has beaches of its own, and the Khlong Dao Muay Thai Stadium is 300 m from the resort, where Muay Thai boxing is part of the local scene. Car hire is offered at the resort for reaching the other bays. The nearest airport is Krabi International Airport, 52.8 km away on the mainland, and from there the journey to Koh Lanta is completed by boat.

A good day out is a trip to Mu Ko Lanta National Park, 18.8 km away, a protected marine park with beaches and islands that you can explore by boat. Back on Klong Dao Beach, the afternoon can be spent on the sand, with the sea in front of the resort and the stadium and the market close by. Lanta Old Town, the island's old town, is reached by road from the resort, so it makes an easy change of scene for a day on the island.
