Ban Maitreejit

The rooms at Ban Maitreejit come as standard doubles, twins and triples. The 40 m² rooms offer a city view and a private bathroom, and the 20 m² rooms sleep up to three guests.

Wat Phothawat, a temple about 3.2 km away, and the Surat Thani Night Market, 3.3 km away, are the sights most worth a visit from here. The market comes alive in the evening with food stalls and everyday goods, and the railway station is 8.2 km away for onward trains. Central Plaza Surat Thani, a large shopping centre 850 m from the hotel, covers everyday needs. Surat Thani Airport is 18.1 km from the hotel, so most arrivals by air will need a transfer by road.

A simple day could start at Wat Phothawat in the morning and continue at the Night Market in the evening for dinner from the stalls. Night ferries to Koh Tao leave from a terminal in the area, so the town also works as a stop before or after the islands.
