Ban Mae Arom

The rooms at Ban Mae Arom range from doubles and standard rooms to a family room with a river view. Four rooms have a shared bathroom, and one standard room has a private bathroom.

The family room measures 12 m² and sleeps up to eight guests, and the double room sleeps up to four. The family room and the double room both have air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi covers all rooms.

Guests can use a shared lounge with a TV area, a terrace and luggage storage at Ban Mae Arom, and a convenience store is on the property. A massage service is also offered.

Free parking is available on site, and Wi-Fi is also available in the public areas. Bicycle parking and bike hire are available too, and air conditioning is provided in the public area.

Amphawa is a canal town in Samut Songkhram province, in central Thailand, where waterways run through the streets and boats are part of daily life. The homestay is in the town itself, close to the canals and to the markets that give the place its character. Bicycle hire is available at the homestay for exploring the lanes around it.

The Amphawa Floating Market is 450 m away, a canal-side market with food stalls and vendors selling from boats. Wat Amphawan Che Ti Ya Ram, a temple with a pagoda, is 500 m away, and the Amphawa Thai Dessert Museum and King Rama II Memorial Park are a short stroll on foot. The Amphawa Bus Station is 350 m away.

A day here can combine the floating market with the King Rama II Museum, which is 800 m away, and a trip to the Maeklong Railway Market, 4.9 km away, where the train runs between the stalls. Bicycles are a practical way to cover the distances between the sights. Amphawa suits a slow day by the water, with the markets, temples and museums all within a few kilometres of the homestay, and the lounge and terrace give guests a quiet place to rest between visits.
