Among the rooms, the Deluxe King Riverside, the Riverside Room, the Family Room and the Standard Room each have a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV and a refrigerator. Beds are King or Queen: the Deluxe King Riverside and the Riverside Room each have one King bed, the Standard Room has a Queen bed, and the Family Room has a Queen bed and a King bed together. A room assigned on arrival, for up to three guests, is also offered.

Amphawa is a canal town in Samut Songkhram province, in central Thailand, known for its waterways and its floating market. Baan Pitumata Amphawa sits in the town itself, where temples and old houses line the water, so most of the sights are close by. An ATM and Amphawa Hospital are also nearby.

The closest sight is the Wat Phraya Yat Rue Wat Pak Ngam pagoda, 50 m away. The Amphawa Floating Market is 550 m away, with boats on the canal and food stalls along the banks, and the Wat Amphawan Che Ti Ya Ram temple is a short walk further along the water. Further afield, the Maeklong Railway Market, 4.8 km away, is set on the tracks of the Mae Klong railway. Don Mueang International Airport is the nearest airport, and the Amphawa Bus Station is the nearest public transport stop, so the last part of a trip is by road.

A good day could start with a walk along the canal to the temples, then a visit to the Amphawa Thai Dessert Museum, 700 m from the hotel, and the King Rama II Memorial Park. The Maeklong Railway Market can be combined with a trip to the floating market, since both sit in the same province.
