Ban Khun Rin Homestay

Air conditioning is in every room at Ban Khun Rin Homestay. The 28 m² Standard Triple Room sleeps up to five guests and has a balcony or terrace, and the 12 m² Standard Double Room sleeps up to four and has a courtyard view.

Extra beds depend on the room you choose, and an extra bed carries an additional charge. Each room has a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries.

The homestay has a shared lounge with a TV and a garden with a terrace, and guests can use the internet services and WiFi in public areas. Free WiFi is available in all rooms, and air conditioning covers the public areas as well as the rooms.

Amphawa is a canal town in Samut Songkhram province, lined with traditional wooden houses, temples and small boats, and it draws many visitors from Bangkok who come for a day or a weekend. Ban Khun Rin Homestay is on Prachaseth Road in the town, so the canals, the temples and the old streets are close at hand. The setting is calm compared with the capital, and the sights closest to the homestay are within a short walk.

The Amphawa Floating Market, 500 m away, is the best-known market in the area, where vendors sell snacks and meals from boats and stalls along the water. Wat Nang Wang, a temple with a pagoda, is 600 m away, and King Rama II Memorial Park is 800 m away. Two museums, the Amphawa Thai Dessert Museum and the King Rama II Museum, are both within a kilometre. The Amphawa Bus Station, 350 m from the homestay, is the nearest public transport stop, and an ATM and a hospital are also nearby.

A good afternoon can be spent at the Amphawa Floating Market, followed by a visit to the Maeklong Railway Market, 4.6 km away, where the stalls are pulled back from the track when a train comes through. Sightseeing by boat along the canals is also a common way to see the town from the water. Back at the homestay, the garden and the shared lounge with a TV give you a place to rest between visits.
