Balcony Villa

Rooms at Balcony Villa measure between 40 and 100 m², and all of them have a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, along with a flat-screen TV. Some rooms look out over the mountains, and two have a sea view or a partial sea view.

Beds range from a single king bed to a combination of a single and a king bed, and some rooms are set up with two single beds. A few rooms have a private entrance, a balcony or terrace, or a refrigerator, and some have a coffee and tea maker. Extras in some rooms include bathrobes, a closet and free bottled water.

Balcony Villa has a garden and a terrace on site, along with a shared lounge and TV area and a shrine. Air conditioning is provided in the public areas, and the property has free parking as well as bicycle parking. Wi-Fi also covers the public areas.

Guests can arrange diving, snorkelling, fishing and hiking, and tours can be arranged too. Daily housekeeping, safety deposit boxes, ticket services and meeting and banquet facilities are offered, and English is one of the languages spoken at the property. Internet services are also offered, and the shared lounge and TV area gives guests a place to sit indoors. Shrine, garden and terrace are all on site, so the grounds offer more than the rooms alone.

Balcony Villa stands in the Sairee area of Ko Tao, a small island in the Gulf of Thailand off the coast of Surat Thani province. Sairee is a beach area with a long sandy shore, and dive shops and cafes sit along the road behind the sand. Ko Tao is reached by boat from the mainland and from Koh Samui, so the crossing is part of getting there.

Sairee Beach is about 900 m away, and the Pagoda, a small pagoda, is around 450 m from the property. The Top of the rock viewpoint is about 550 m away. A short boat trip takes you to Koh Nang Yuan, about 3.3 km away. The nearest airport is Samui Airport, 65.9 km away on Koh Samui, and the last part of the journey to Ko Tao is by boat.

A day can start with a walk to the Pagoda and the viewpoint, then continue down to Sairee Beach for a swim. Diving and snorkelling are the island's best-known activities, and dive trips can be arranged from the Sairee area, so the afternoon can be spent on the water. The Sairee Viewpoint is another outing that fits well into an early evening.
