Baansuanpiyanan

Air conditioning comes with every room at Baansuanpiyanan. Guests can choose between a King Room with Sea View, which sleeps up to two guests, and a Double Room with Balcony, which sleeps up to three guests and has a sofa bed alongside its double bed.

The Double Room with Balcony opens onto a balcony or terrace with a sea view, and it has a private bathroom with a shower, a flat-screen TV, a refrigerator and a coffee and tea maker. The King Room with Sea View is set around a double bed, with air conditioning, for two guests.

The garden is the main outdoor space at Baansuanpiyanan, with paths, a terrace and designated areas for outdoor games. Air conditioning is available in the public areas as well as in the rooms.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and the connection also works in the public areas. Free parking is available for guests who arrive by car.

Guests can use the internet services at the property, and English, Chinese (Mandarin) and Thai are spoken.

Baansuanpiyanan is in Ban Tha Khao, a village on Koh Yao Noi, an island in Phang Nga Bay. The last part of the journey to the island is by boat, and the village is a quiet cluster of houses and gardens. The property has its own garden of tropical planting, with winding paths, a terrace and an area for outdoor games, and guests can gather there in the evening under the open sky.

The ferry pier at Tha Khao is 600 m away, and it is the nearest boat point in the area. Koh Yao Yai, the neighbouring island, lies 11.8 km away. Hong Island, a lagoon island known for kayaking, is 8.9 km away, while James Bond Island, the limestone islet that is a stop on boat tours of the bay, is 20.4 km away.

A full day could start with a boat trip to Hong Island, where the lagoon is best explored by kayak, and then return to the property for the garden in the afternoon. Boat trips across the bay can be rougher during the rainy season, when the sea is more unsettled, and it is worth keeping that in mind when planning a day on the water.
