Baanlek Guest House

The rooms at Baanlek Guest House measure 16 m² and have a king bed for up to two guests, a private bathroom and free Wi-Fi. The Standard Double Room with Fan has a fan as well, so the rooms are simple and practical for a short stay on the island.

Baan Klong Khong is a residential stretch of Koh Lanta, a long island in Krabi province in the Andaman Sea. Houses and small shops line the road that runs toward the coast, and the sea is a short walk from the apartment. The area is calm and residential, and the pace is set by island life.

Klong Khong Beach is 200 m away. Long Beach, a sandy stretch on the island's coast, is 3.1 km off, and Lanta Old Town, a traditional island town with local shops, is 7.7 km away. Khao Mai Kaew Cave, a limestone cave, is also worth a visit, and Mu Ko Lanta National Park, covering forest and coastline, is 13 km away. Getting around the island is done by road, and the ferry from the mainland is the first leg of any trip to the apartment.

A good day could begin with a swim at Klong Khong Beach, followed by a walk to Long Beach and an afternoon in the old town. The national park is a natural choice for a walk among the trees and along the coast, and the cave can be part of the same day. In the rainy months the sea can be rough, so boat trips may be cancelled.
