Baan Wasana

Baan Wasana offers one-bedroom and two-bedroom accommodation in several types, from rooms with a single king bed to bungalows with a choice of bed set-ups. Some rooms have a balcony or terrace, air conditioning and a refrigerator, and beach or sea views are available in certain types.

The two-bedroom bungalow measures 48 m² and sleeps up to four guests, and other bungalows also sleep up to four. Bed set-ups vary by room, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Baan Wasana has a 24-hour front desk, a garden and a private beach, and massage treatments are offered. Luggage storage is also available, and a smoking area is provided. Both the garden and the private beach are part of the property.

Nathon is the main town and ferry port of Koh Samui, and Baan Wasana sits in it, away from the busier beach strips of the island. Local life here runs along the roads, past temples and a fish market, so the area feels more like an everyday town than a holiday strip. The island's beaches are a drive away from here.

Wat Samuthra Ram, a pagoda in the immediate area, is 500 m away, and Nathon Pier, where ferries dock, is 2.5 km away. Lamai Beach, with its walking street of shops and food stalls, is 13.4 km away, and the Samui Monkey Center is close by as well. Big Buddha, the large seated statue on the hill above Bo Phut, is a longer trip by road.

A good day could start with a visit to Wat Samuthra Ram and the Coconut Museum, 1.9 km away, before heading to Na Muang Waterfall, which is reached by road from the town. Samui Airport, 14.7 km away, is the nearest airport for arrivals on the island. Big Buddha and Lamai Beach can be combined into one longer day trip by road, and the fish market is also close, so the surroundings show the island's everyday side as well as its beaches.
