Baan Thit

Baan Thit offers two room types. The Standard room measures 12 m² and has a Queen bed, and its equipment includes air conditioning, a balcony or terrace and a shower. The superior room measures 16 m² and has a King bed.

Both room types sleep up to two guests, with one bed each: a Queen bed in the Standard room and a King bed in the superior room. Children aged 2 to 9 can stay free of charge when using existing bedding, and extra beds depend on the room you choose.

The guesthouse offers room service, so guests can have a meal in their room, and bicycle rental for getting around the town. A smoking area is set aside on the property, so guests who smoke have a place of their own outside the rooms.

Internet access is available, including WiFi in the public areas of the guesthouse, and the Standard room also has air conditioning and a balcony or terrace.

Baan Thit is in Sukhothai City, the provincial capital of Sukhothai province in central Thailand. The town grew up around the ruins of the first Thai kingdom, and those ruins are the best-known sight in the area. The guesthouse sits on a side street off Jarodwitheetong Road, close to the town centre and its evening market and walking street.

The night market is 200 m from the guesthouse, and Wat Khuha Suwan, a pagoda, is 350 m away, while Chaloem Phra Kiat Park is a green space nearby. Sukhothai Historical Park, the UNESCO World Heritage ruins of the old capital, is 11.9 km away and is too far to walk, so it is best reached by road. Wat Maha That, a temple inside the park, and Wat Sri Chum, known for its large seated Buddha, are among the other temples in the historic zone. Sukhothai Airport (THS) is 25.1 km away.

A good day could start with the ruins of Sukhothai Historical Park and end back in town at the night market and walking street. Chaloem Phra Kiat Park makes a simple stop for a walk between the two, and the town centre is close enough to return to in the evening without planning a long trip.
