Baan Sudarat

All the rooms at Baan Sudarat have air conditioning, and the room types offer a choice of views: pool views in several rooms, and city and mountain views in others. Most rooms have a King bed, while one room has a double bed and another can be set up with a double bed or two single beds.

Several rooms have a balcony or terrace, and the Studio has a dishwasher and kitchenware. Most rooms sleep two guests, and one room type sleeps up to three. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and guests can choose by view, bed and room size.

Guests who want to be near the town's activity, rather than at a quiet bay, will find this part of the island well suited to a lively stay, and the hotel's own pools give a place to relax between outings.

Bangla Road, 950 m away, is Patong's best-known street for nightlife, with bars and nightclubs along its length. The large Jungceylon Shopping Center is in the same part of town, and Karon Beach, further south, is a long stretch of sand with a calmer feel. Further afield, Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), 5.8 km away, is one of the most important Buddhist temples on the island, and the Big Buddha Phuket, 6.7 km away on a hilltop, has wide views across the island.

A full day could start with a stroll along Patong Beach and continue with a visit to the temple and the Big Buddha, both reached by road from Patong. Back in town, Bangla Road offers an evening's entertainment close to the hotel. Between trips, Karon Beach is a good change of scene for an afternoon on the sand.
