Baan Suan Rim Klong Resort

Baan Suan Rim Klong Resort has two family suites, of 45 m² and 60 m², that sleep up to five and six guests, and a 50 m² family room for up to six. Rooms can have air conditioning, a refrigerator, free bottled water and toiletries, and several rooms have a private bathroom with a shower.

Several rooms have a garden view, and some have a TV with satellite or cable channels and streaming services. The two family suites offer a choice of bed set-ups, and internet access is available in several rooms.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool and a children's swimming pool, along with a playground, a garden and a terrace. Restaurants, a coffee shop, a shared kitchen, room service and food delivery are available, and the breakfast choices are Asian and continental.

For getting around, the resort offers an airport transfer, a shuttle service, car hire and bicycle rental, and tours can be arranged. Diving and snorkelling are also offered, and laundry service, dry cleaning and luggage storage are available. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and Wi-Fi is also available in public areas. Guests can also use the convenience store on site and the luggage storage, and the front desk is staffed around the clock.

Baan Suan Rim Klong Resort sits in Baan Klong Khong, part of Saladan, the main village on Koh Lanta in Krabi province, on Thailand's Andaman coast. Koh Lanta has no bridge, so the journey to the island is completed by boat, and the sea is part of the setting as well as the journey. The island has a string of beaches and bays, and the beach is 360 m from the resort, so the water is a short walk away. Saladan is also where ferries from the mainland call.

Ao Hin Ta Re and Lung Phon Beach lie close by, and Khlong Khong Beach is also nearby. Lanta Animal Welfare, an animal shelter, is near the resort, and a garden with a butterfly farm lies 3.7 km away. Kantiang Bay, 6.1 km away, is a bay with its own beaches, and Khao Mai Kaew Cave is a limestone cave on the island.

A full day could start at Mu Ko Lanta National Park, 15 km away, which protects much of the island's natural landscape, and continue to Kantiang Bay in the afternoon. Krabi International Airport lies on the mainland, 56.9 km away. Boat services to the island can be disrupted by rough seas in the rainy season.
