Baan Sawasdee Resort

Both rooms at Baan Sawasdee Resort have air conditioning and a garden view. The family room measures 76 m² and sleeps up to eight guests, and the double room measures 38 m² and sleeps up to four. Each one opens onto a balcony and has its own private bathroom.

Both rooms come with an electric kettle, a fan and linens, and the bathrooms have toiletries, towels, a hair dryer and a walk-in shower. Across the hotel, rooms can have a safe, a refrigerator and a desk.

Baan Sawasdee Resort is at Pra Ae Beach, also called Long Beach, on Koh Lanta, an island in Krabi province in southern Thailand. The sand is about 200 m from the resort, and the village of Phra Ae is a short way inland. Koh Lanta is known for its beaches, forested hills and limestone caves, and everyday services such as a convenience store and an ATM are close by.

Khlong Khong Beach, with its own stretch of sand, is 1.3 km away, and the limestone Khao Mai Kaew Cave is 8 km from the resort. Mu Ko Lanta National Park, a protected area of forest, beaches and marine waters, is 15.6 km away, so the park makes a full day out. The island is reached by ferry from the mainland, so the last stretch of the trip from Krabi International Airport, 56.2 km away, is by boat. The resort offers an airport transfer, car hire and a shuttle service, and bicycle parking is available at the resort.

A good day could begin on Long Beach, then continue to Khlong Khong Beach or to Mu Ko Lanta National Park. Back at the resort, the on-site restaurant serves international cuisine and the bar runs a happy hour.
