Baan Sawan Samui Resort

Rooms at Baan Sawan Samui Resort look out over the pool, the garden or the bay. A 75 m² family suite with a garden view sits alongside a 70 m² villa with a pool view, a 34 m² standard room overlooking the pool and a 40 m² room with a bay view.

Rooms can have air conditioning, a mini bar, a refrigerator, a hair dryer and a private bathroom. Some have a balcony with outdoor furniture, and some have a separate shower and bathtub. The family suite includes streaming services and a telephone, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Chaweng Noi is a small bay on Koh Samui, next to the better-known Chaweng beach, with its own stretch of sand. The resort is about 450 m from the sand of Chaweng Noi Beach, and the lanes behind the shore carry the everyday mix of small hotels, cafés and food stalls found in the island's beach areas. Guests can spend time at the resort's pools, spa and garden between excursions.

Lamai Beach, 3.1 km away, is a long stretch of sand with the Wat Lamai pagoda close by, and the Hin Ta and Hin Yai rocks near Lamai are known as the Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks. Further off, the hilltop Big Buddha lies 8 km away, and Samui Airport, 5.6 km away, is the island's own airport, so the island is reached by air or by boat from the mainland.

A day could start on the sand at Chaweng Noi, then continue to Lamai for the pagoda and the rocks, or head inland to Na Muang Waterfall, 7.6 km away in the island's interior. The Lad Koh and Chaweng viewpoints are both close to the resort, so the views over the island are easy to reach without a long journey.
