Baan Sawan Resort

The accommodation at Baan Sawan Resort is made up of apartments and bungalows, several of them with two or three bedrooms. Rooms can have air conditioning, a balcony or terrace, a refrigerator, a coffee and tea maker, bottled water and a shower. The three-bedroom rooms have two bathrooms, and one apartment has a mountain view.

Two three-bedroom rooms measure 90 m² and sleep up to six guests, a two-bedroom bungalow measures 80 m² and sleeps up to five, and a three-bedroom apartment with a mountain view measures 70 m² and sleeps up to eight. Several other apartments and bungalows sleep up to three guests.

The resort has an outdoor and an indoor swimming pool, a children's swimming pool, a garden, a bar and a poolside bar. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and WiFi also covers the public areas.

Massage treatments are offered, and BBQ facilities and a kitchen are available. Tours can be arranged, car hire is offered, and there is a laundromat and a laundry service. Express check-in and check-out are available, and facilities for disabled guests are provided. An airport transfer is offered, and safety deposit boxes are also available for guests.

On-site parking is available, and the resort is family and child friendly. Languages spoken include English, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish and Thai.

Ao Nang is a beach town on the Andaman coast of Krabi, with limestone cliffs rising above its shore and a lively street life in the evening. Nopparat Thara, where the resort stands, is part of the same stretch of coast, so the beach, the markets and the boat piers are all within a short distance of the resort.

Noppharat Thara Beach is 1.8 km from the resort, a sandy stretch of the Ao Nang coastline. The Ao-Nang Landmark Night Market, with its food stalls and goods, is 1.6 km away, and the Ao Nang Chaloem Phrakiat Public Park, a green space, is 1.3 km away. Nang An Pier, a ferry terminal, lies 1.7 km away, and Railay Beach, which is reached only by boat, is 5.5 km away.

Boat trips from the piers can take you to Railay and Phra Nang Cave, both reached by boat, and to nearby islands such as Poda and Tup, while longer trips reach the Hong Islands. After dark, the night market is a good place to eat street food and browse the stalls, and the seafront is an easy stroll. Longtail boats are the usual way to reach the islands and bays along this coast.
