Baan Phu Lae

Baan Phu Lae offers bungalows with a sea view, a beach view or a partial sea view, as well as air-conditioned bungalows and a house. Some rooms have a balcony or terrace with a seating area, and several have a shower in the bathroom. Capacity runs from two to four guests.

Guests can choose between a room by the sea, one with a beach view, or a bungalow with air conditioning, depending on the view and the comfort they prefer. Several of the bungalows look out over the sea or the beach. For a larger group, the Beachfront First Row (Fan) room sleeps up to four guests.

Baan Phu Lae sits on Ba Kantiang Bay, a quiet stretch of Koh Lanta in Krabi province, in southern Thailand. The bay is known for its sandy beaches and calm water, and the area stays away from the busier parts of the island, with the sea close by. The beach is 490 m from the hotel.

Within a short distance are Pa Hin Ngam Beach (500 m), Khlong Chak Waterfall (600 m) and Lanta Old Town (7.1 km), the island's traditional old town. Mu Ko Lanta National Park, which covers forest and coastline, lies nearby. Koh Lanta has no bridge, so reaching the island means crossing by ferry from the mainland, and the nearest airport, Trang Airport, lies across the water.

A good day could begin on the beach at Pa Hin Ngam and continue to Khlong Chak Waterfall, then explore Mu Ko Lanta National Park. Boat trips around the islands can be limited when the sea is rough during the rainy months. The limestone Khao Mai Kaew Cave makes a longer outing, reached by road. Bamboo Beach (Had Mai Phai), 1.1 km away, is a quiet beach in a small bay. Ta Nod Cape and its lighthouse are near the beach at Pa Hin Ngam.
