Baan Palad

Baan Palad has double rooms, a twin room, a studio room and a standard room, along with a VIP double room and an economy double room. The Twin, the Studio Room and the Standard Room each measure 30 m² and have a mountain view, with air conditioning in all three.

Rooms can have air conditioning, a refrigerator, a shower and satellite or cable channels on the TV, and some have a balcony or terrace or a private bathroom. Bed options run from a single bed to a king bed, and extra beds are available at an additional charge for the rooms that accept them.

Life here moves at a town pace, with temples, shops and cafés close together, and it appeals to travellers who want to see more of Phuket than its beaches.

Rassada Pier, 350 m away, is the departure point for boats to nearby islands, so the hotel is well placed for island trips. The Crocodile Farm and Sea Aquarium, 1.2 km away, combines a crocodile farm with a sea aquarium. Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is one of the island's most revered Buddhist temples, and Patong Beach, 11.8 km away, is the island's busiest beach area, with nightlife. Phuket International Airport, 25.4 km away, is the main airport on the island.

A good first day combines the old town streets and the Crocodile Farm and Sea Aquarium with a visit to Chaithararam Temple, then an evening in Patong for the nightlife. The large Big Buddha statue on a hilltop is another stop for a day of sightseeing, and the bus station is close by for onward journeys.
