Amphawa is a canal town in Samut Songkhram province, in central Thailand, where wooden houses and shophouses line the waterways and the pace of life is slow. Baan Kornnara Resort is on Thonburi-Pakthor (Sai Kao) Road in the Plai Phongphang area of Amphawa, and the canals and the centre of the town are reached by road from there.
